Greek Roasted Olives – Good Taste – Where Style Meets Flavor

Roasted Olive appetizer inspired by the Greek Isles.

Greek is one of the oldest cultures, yet today we know how to party hardy like they did back in the day! At the same time, the alluring white-washed stucco buildings with blue domes of Greece invite any visitor to sit back in the sun, relax and take in the sites over appetizers and chilled Ouzo. Today, the Greek Isles inspired Vera with a new appetizer to impress the guests, Greek Roasted Olives.

RECIPE

GREEK – GREEK STYLE HERB ROASTED OLIVES APPETIZERS – Yields 1 cup

Preheat oven to 425 degrees

Mix together in one bowl: olives, garlic, oregano, parsley. Mix well.

Layer on thin oven pan: Sprinkled Olive Oil, Lemon Slices, then pour mixture above on top of the lemons.

Bake at 425 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

Remove, sprinkle chopped parsley and lemon zest.

Serve.

Ingredients

1 cup – Mixed Olives. Leave pits in.

1-1/2 teaspoons – Olive oil

1 clove – Garlic minced

2 teaspoons – Oregano

A pinch – Kosher salt

To Taste – Freshly ground pepper

1 – Fresh Zest from a Lemon

1 – Thinly sliced Lemon after Zest Removed

2 – Tablespoons Chopped parsley
